This week sees tickets for a whole host of genres go on sale. From one-person band extraordinaire Tash Sultana heading for another night at London's Royal Albert Hall to indie-favourites DMA's confirmation of a show in Norwich to coincide with the release of their new LP, check out everything going 'On Sale This Week' below.

 

Tash Sultana

Currently in the middle of a world tour, Tash Sultana has just added another date at London’s Royal Albert Hall due to phenomenal demand for the first show. Now headlining across 21st and 22nd September, Tash Sultana’s brilliant live show is a must-see and their multi-instrumentalist performance is one of the most impressive in the world right now.

DMA’s

Aussie indie favourites DMA’s have grown a fiercely loyal fanbase across the past half-a-decade. From supporting the likes of Kasabian and Courteeners, the trio have released some of the most spellbinding ballads as well as huge arena filling anthems – making it impossible to pigeon-hole their sound.

With news that their third LP, The Glow, will be out on 24 April, DMA’s head to Norwich’s Nick Rayns LCR UEA on 6th May.

Crazy P

Dance music pioneers Crazy P are set to embark on a nationwide tour to play all their hits.

The five-piece take their disco and soul sound to Nottingham’s Rescue Rooms, Leeds’ The Wardrobe, Brighton’s Chalk, Bristol’s SWX and Manchester’s Club Academy.

Jimothy Lacoste

Lo-fi, bedroom-pop creative Jimothy Lacoste is heading to Nottingham’s Rescue Rooms and London’s Heaven this spring. He sold out a string of shows last year, including two London dates at Koko and Moth Club respectively.

With no strict genre to place Jimothy Lacoste, he continues to self-release music including latest track, Finna Glow.

Poolside

Californian dance outfit Poolside head to Omeara on 3rd March. Their debut record was called “a disco album that slinks along with the urgency of a teenager on the first day of summer vacation” by Pitchfork and 8 years on, they have developed their sound to be a more rounded, blissful package.

Becky Hill

In 2014 Becky Hill became the first contestant from The Voice to top the UK charts. Since then, she has collaborated with world renowned DJs Oliver Heldens, MK and Wilkinson and this year sees her embark on her biggest tour yet, which includes a date at Nottingham’s Rock City on 22nd November.

Skunk Anansie

Rock legends Skunk Anansie have confirmed plans to celebrate 25 years as a band with a show at Rock City on 29th November. With a plethora of awards including MTV’s Best Group and Best Live Act, the four-piece reformed in 2009 with new record Wonderlustre, which combined their signature sharp riffs, complex drumming and funk roots. They have since gone on to release two further albums – Black Traffic and Anarchytecture.

Boston Manor

Following the announcement of new LP, Glue (out 1st May), Blackpool punks Boston Manor head to Nottignham’s Rescue Room on 3rd May. Their sound has been championed by Kerrang, Upset and the Independent.

Support comes from Australian punk-rock outfit, Trophy Eyes – their frontman, John Floreani, featured on Boston Manor’s latest single, Liquid.
