This week sees the return of two of the world's biggest pop acts - Celine Dion and Westlife. Their new records, 'Courage' and 'Spectrum', are their first major releases for quite a while and showcase exactly why we fell in love with them all those years ago. New music from Hannah Diamond, Gabrielle Aplin, Toth and more also feature in our New Music Friday guide this week.
Celine Dion – Courage
Celine Dion has released her highly-anticipated new LP, Courage. Showcasing the brilliance that led her to become one of the world's biggest superstars, Dion's first English album in six years features the huge singles Flying On My Own, Imperfections and Lying Down. Taking it around the globe on the Courage World Tour, Celine Dion visits Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and London in September 2020.

Westlife – Spectrum
Back with their first major album in eight years, Westlife have dropped Spectrum. 14 months in the making (the longest it has ever taken Westlife to create a record), the Irish quartet drip-fed singles Hello My Love, Better Man and Dynamite between January and July. It will be taken around the UK next year on a tour that includes a show in Colwyn Bay on 5th July.

Gabrielle Aplin – December (EP)
Christmas is around the corner and what better way to get into the festive spirit than a Christmas song covers EP by Gabrielle Aplin and Hannah Grace. Aplin is performing as part of the Never Fade Records Xmas Party, before embarking on a headline tour in spring next year. We'll be surprised if some of the tracks from this EP, such as All I Want Fro Christmas Is You and In the Bleak Midwinter at Union Chapel next month.

Hannah Diamond – Love Goes On
Hannah Diamond's latest single, Love Goes On, comes a week before the release of her highly anticipated debut record. Dropping via the PC Music label, it is typically dream-scape and features Diamond's iconic vocals that have already seen her sell out a headline London show, with a second date at Fire close to following suit.

Fat Freddy's Drop - Special Edition Part 1
Fat Freddy's Drop have revealed the first half of their two-part record. Featuring six tracks, the New Zealand juggernauts have altered and adapted three of those (Special Edition, Kamo Kamo, and OneFourteen) during their live jam sessions across the world. Part 2 will be released after much road testing during their forthcoming world tour.

Toth - Juliette
Toth's latest single, Juliette, is a three minute, slacker-come-lo-fi, dreamy ballad. His first release since debut album, Practice Magic and Seek Professional Help When Necessary, Toth pays respect to a former instead of bitterly tearing them apart. Expect to hear this new single at The Grace later this month.
